Free a girl

Worldwide, 2 million children, especially girls, are trapped in a situation of sexual exploitation. Free a Girl works hard to liberate these children and does everything it can to ensure that those who exploited them are actually prosecuted.

Re:Wild

Re:Wild protects and restores the wild. We have a singular and powerful focus: the wild as the most effective solution to the interconnected climate, biodiversity and human wellbeing crises.

War Child

War damages every aspect of a child’s life. It strips their families of all means to support them. Children caught up in war lose their access to education, legal protection, and personal safety and security. War Child provides children with education programs, so they can get back into school. It gives them safe spaces, so they can get back to playing.

Amnesty

Amnesty International is a global movement of more than 10 million people in over 150 countries and territories who campaign to end abuses of human rights.

Surprise, more than profit

On the contrary, we love to be able to contribute something back to the planet we live on. We see owning a company and producing paper magazines as a loan to the world. We borrow materials from our planet but if we don't pay back it's just stealing. For these reasons, we have selected a set of charities we help by donating 50% of our pure profits. Read more about how we do this below.

Our ambitions expand beyond our current sales numbers, so we would like to take you on a small ride, past the figures that will explain our philosophy and dreams that are yet to be fulfilled.

At Bully we don’t believe that a company or organisation can exist on this planet just for the sake of employment possibilities and profit numbers. We think that there should be a new starting point for every company, instead of just existing for financial growth. We support a different route that serves a more social and environmentally friendly way within the boundaries of that company's possibilities. With inspiration drawn fromYvon Chouinard, Ben Cohan & Jerry Greenfield on American soil and Eileen Fisher, we are willing to make a fundamental statement on the distribution of our finances.

Now although we are still just at the spring of what hopefully soon can become a waterfall carrying the immense power of change and flourishment, we already selected a small number of parties we would like to support via our donation fund with a 50% share of the profits we make.
Why did we choose just six large organisations?
Because we at Bully have the perception that, since we want to make our magazine available on a global scale, we should start out with large organizations familiar to many individuals around the world, and active in many places, instead of numerous small local organisations in various countries. Besides the amount, we also made an important consideration in the subject of donation and we have chosen to find a balance in organisations that help to fix problems caused by humans to nature, and organisations that help to solve human against human crimes. The centre of importance for us lies in organisations involving, environmental, biodiversity and wildlife for we feel that these mostly involve crimes that humans inflicted on species that have no voice that can be raised, and are in this state of the world completely let over to the grace of the human race.

But what about those dreams we talked about in the beginning? How do we aspire to evolve our donation fond in the future if the magazine is able to gather a certain amount of subscribers.
At this point, we are very interested in the thought of supporting small local organizations in various cities all over the world. Laying out a map so that the subscriber can search for the local organizations that receive funding in their part of the country and perhaps even feel inspired to take part in thework executed by that institution specific. It would also work the other wa yaround, subscribers and individuals that have an interest in Bully could also have the opportunity to suggest groups of people in their area or community that should receive funding due to the work that they are doing. We are really aspiring for two-way communication at one point that will help us to put our loan, that we pay to this planet as a company, in the most effective places and to the best people possible.
